Your privacy is important to us. We want to make sure that you (“you(r)” or “user(s)”) understand our policies and practices. We also provide opportunities for you to choose what information you give us and options to opt out. This policy shall apply to www.reimaginingproject.com (the “Site”), transactions through the Site, our newsletter/blog and email communications, our live or pre-recorded video or audio sessions and any other materials and content offered through the Site, any related applications or social media (“Apps”), and/or any other service provided by reimagining project, LLC (“reimagining project” or “we” or “us” or “Noticing Matters” or “Notice-to-Wonder Books” or “Children’s Innovation Project”). The Site, Apps, all activities described in the preceding sentence, and/or any other service shall be referred to as the “Services.” See our Terms of Use for limitations on use and resources. 

1. Acceptance of this Policy

Please read this policy in full. By using the Site, you are also confirming that you have read and understand this policy, including how and why we use your information. If you do not wish to have us collect or process your personal information, you should not use the Services and should immediately cease use of this Site. You also understand that we use third party services and apps, including Squarespace, Inc. (“Squarespace”), Zoom Video Communications, Inc. (“Zoom”), Google LLC (“Google” and its related services and subsidiaries, including “Google Meet,” “Google Drive,” and “Google Analytics”), Twitter, Inc. (“Twitter”), and Instagram, Inc. (“Instagram”), and other third party providers that may not be directly described in this Policy to deliver the Services. We are not responsible for the privacy policies, content, terms, etc. of these third parties. 

You must be at least 18 years of age to use this website. The Services are not targeted to minors and any person under the age of 18 viewing or using the Services should only do so with parental supervision and control. You are responsible for any and all Services activity conducted by a minor. If you are the parent or guardian of a child whom you believe has disclosed personal information to us, please contact us at melissa@reimaginingproject.com so that you may review the information submitted and have such child’s information deleted and removed from our systems.

By using the Services, you understand that reimagining project is operated in the United States. reimagining project sees and can delete the information provided by you, but it does not have its own servers. The Site is hosted by Squarespace. Information is held on servers provided by Squarespace, based in New York City, New York, United States of America.

2. Information Collected or Received

To use certain aspects of the Services you will need to enter, and we shall collect, a certain amount of personal information, which is detailed below. If you do not wish to transmit personal information, do not use the Services. There are also opportunities to opt out of the collection of certain information or transmissions, which you may take advantage of when available. 

Payments: reimagining project offers live and pre-recorded video and audio sessions, such as workshops, talks, conversations/Q&As, guided sessions, group consultations; print material for download, such as e-books, guides, resources, and pamphlets; hardcopy print material and other related educational products for purchase and personal use (“Products”). To purchase Products through the Site, you may need to submit personal information to check out and also to set up accounts with Stripe, Inc. (“Stripe”) or other third party payment processors we may designate in our sole discretion from time to time. To set up a payment account with a third party payment processor you may (depending on the requirements of the specific processor) need to provide your full name, address, credit/debit card number, routing number, and any additional information required by any third party payment processors. All bank/credit card/debit card information required for payment processing will be held by the payment processor and not by reimagining project. We will see and have records of names, customer, and order details. 

Newsletter/Blog and Other Resources: We allow or will allow users to sign up to receive our newsletter/blog and other resources. These are titled under reimaginging project, LLC, “Noticing Matters,” or “Notice-to-Wonder Books” which are projects of reimagining project.  Users simply enter their full name and email address. No other information is required to be entered. This is to allow the user to receive the reimagining project newsletter/blog to their designated email address. 

Contact and Booking Forms: We allow users to contact us via a contact form or access services through a booking form. Users can enter their first name, last name, email address, other necessary information for bookings, and any message they wish to enter. Users understand that messages sent via the contact or booking forms are not confidential and will be seen by reimagining project personnel. 

Data Storage: We, or the third party Site and App providers, may use third party cloud storage providers such as Google Cloud or other providers to facilitate the functionality of our Services. The manner in which your information is used, stored, and disclosed is governed solely by the policies of such third party service providers, and reimagining project shall have no liability or responsibility for the privacy practices or other actions of any third party site or service that may be enabled within the Service. 

Analytics: We, and certain of our third party service providers, may use third party services such as Google Analytics that collect, monitor, and analyze information including locations, IP addresses, etc. to determine functionality of our Services, fulfill orders, and provide our newsletter and resources. We use the information received from these third party providers only to improve services on this Site. We do not combine the information collected through the use of Google Analytics or any other third party provider with personally identifiable information. You should also review the privacy policies of our third party providers to review how they may use analytics. 

General User Info: We may receive or obtain information (for example, an email address or IP address) from a user shopping or visiting the Services but who has not provided personal information or made a purchase. The information collected, such as that for Analytics, from these “General Users” is used as detailed in this policy..

Cookies: We use cookies on our site, and you may see a pop up alerting you to such. Most browsers accept cookies by default. You can choose to set your browser to do otherwise. Note, however, that if you remove cookies, it may affect the functionality of, and therefore your interaction with, our Services. 3. Control of Information

You are able to choose what information you provide and change your communication elections whenever you like. If you wish to have information removed from our databases or email lists, please contact reimagining project at melissa@reimaginingproject.com. You can only remove optional information without affecting the ability to use the Services. If you wish to have a copy of the data collected by us, you may contact us via the contact information stated at the bottom of this Policy. 

We may send you communications via any of the contact information you provide us. Communications related to the functionality of the Services, transactions, or legal notices are required and you cannot opt out of them. 

You may opt out of non-required communications such as notifications, marketing, newsletters/blogs, emails, etc. If you would like to unsubscribe from our newsletter/blog or any other of our email resources, click the “unsubscribe” button at the bottom of the reimagining project email you receive. 

4. Use of Information and Disclosure

As described above, we collect your information to carry out the Services. We use and share this information only for the following purposes:

  • To fulfill our obligations and provide the Services to you;

  • To perform any contractual requirements in our Terms of Use;

  • In any ways you have consented through our Site and/or Services;

  • To comply with a legal obligation, court order, subpoena, or in the defense of legal claims;

  • To prevent a threat to any person, or our system or network;

  • To third parties to the extent necessary to fulfill the Services or marketing on our behalf;

  • To contact you as described in this Agreement; and

This policy only applies to information directly collected by reimagining project and any projects/services thereof. Information provided to other third parties through the Services is subject to their respective privacy policies. reimagining project is not responsible for the privacy or security practices of any of the third parties, users, or other websites on the Internet, even those linked to or from the Site. You should read the privacy policies and terms of use of all parties you transmit information to. For the purposes of European law, third parties and other users are independent controllers of data, and therefore they are solely responsible for complying with all applicable laws, regulations, and their own policies relating to personal information.  

5. Security

We take steps to keep your information safe including commercially reasonable protection measures put in place by Squarespace and/or any other third party site or service that may host or  be enabled for the Service. 

6. Retention

We only keep your information for as long as necessary to carry out the Services. We will only retain information after you have indicated you no longer wish us to use the information to the extent necessary to comply with legal obligations. We do not control how long third-party service providers hold your information. 

7. Updating this Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We suggest you regularly check this Policy for any such updates. We will also advise you when we make changes via the contact information you have provided us. Your continued use of the Services after such notification constitutes your consent to the updated Policy.
