I help you see more of what’s present and possible with your product, program, curriculum, framework, process, community, or organization. I support you to notice the whole more clearly and how each small piece contributes to how people engage, learn, connect, and find value with/in your ___. I recommend actionable steps leveraged from opportunities already present within your context, and I suggest ways to embed these authentically into your ongoing structures.

 

Design

I design learning experiences, communities of practice, and creative processes/products with a lens for depth of engagement (rigor + play), intrinsically motivated curiosity, and authentic belonging. We work together and create inside the limits and specificities of your context, whether you want to (re)create a learning product for children, (re)design a program for families, (re)imagine a learning community for adults, or something else.

 
 

Facilitate

Teach | Guide | Inspire | Nurture | Prompt | Support

I lead workshops, protocols, conversations, and holistic experiences (in person or online). I guide participants to deepen what, why, and how they understand and experience things the way they do, including how they approach their own learning, work, and being. I hold space for groups to engage with any topic (especially what seems most challenging) and I support all participants to show up as whole beings with a range of thoughts and feelings. I trust in what is already present within people and organizations and create space for people to find (and remember) more in themselves.

Example workshop topics:

  • Small shifts to nurture open-ended play

  • What is boredom and how do we help students engage with it?

  • Designing for spaces of slowness (when days feel full and fast)

  • Supporting students to engage with their feelings as essential material for creative learning

  • Nurturing children’s intrinsic curiosities through exploration with small things

  • We teach who we are: noticing and exploring our dispositions as educators

  • What do you notice?: Looking closely at small moments of educator practice

I partner with you to create something together—an idea, process, product, proposal, event, community, opportunity, or new question to grow into. We work together to decide on the scope and parameters. I can support design, development, documentation and research, facilitation of process, or big-picture guidance. I say yes to collaborative work that’s beyond what I could do myself and feels full of ease, joy, and (de)light.
